Queen Anne chairs are well built and sturdy with their solid single vase shaped backsplat. Great for dining chairs or simply as hall chairs. 
 
The original Queen Anne period ran from 1702-1714, however, the style of architecture and design at the time has seen several instances of 'revival' in both the 1930s and the late Victorian.
