An early 20th Century Arts & Crafts oak student's bureau with open bookcase front with later handles.
Lovely oak patination to the front of the bureau with wonderful historical signs of use, including an old ink stain possibly from when in use by a student during its lifetime.  
This is bureau would be greatly placed in anyone’s bedroom or study functioning as both a desk and a bookshelf but also could serve as a shoe rack and key cabinet near the front door.
